(September 29, Islamabad, Sri Lanka Guardian) Pakistan Cricket Board chief Ijaz Butt has left for London to gather more information on the ongoing investigation of spot-fixing against his country's cricketers.

PCB spokesman Nadeem Sarwar said Butt, accompanied by the board's legal adviser Tafazzul Rizvi, is scheduled to "have some important meetings in London."

Three Pakistan players were suspended by the International Cricket Council and interviewed by police over allegations of spot-fixing in a Test against England.

The England and Wales Cricket Board has demanded an apology from Butt for accusing England of deliberately losing a one-day game against Pakistan at The Oval this month. Tell a Friend
